The Iceland Academy of the Arts exhibits at Dutch Design Week

Iceland Academy of the Arts shows ‘No Waste’ at Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven on October 22-30.

No Waste inclueds eight projects by graduates and current students of the Iceland Academy

Waste, one of the most relevant topics in design for the last couple of years continues to open up directions for designers to challenge and intervene into established human systems whether it is transportation, utilization of material, food consumption or packaging.

The projects both question as well as propose alternative ways to deal with the material and its transformation.

Selections exhibits glimpses of the work conducted at the Department of D&A at the Iceland Academy of the Arts.

This is the first time the Iceland Academy of the Art participates in Dutch Design Week.
